MANDHANA CAMPUS
Rama Medical College, Hospital & Research Center, Mandhana, is an endeavor of Rama Group of Institutions to extend its time tested and established healthcare services in both education and healthcare sectors, at its Mandhana Campus. Established in 2007, RMC Mandhana was the first private college in UP to offer MBBS along with the facility of 1000 bedded super specialty hospital.
Along with a Medical College and a Hospital, two Engineering Institutions, a Business Studies Institution, Nursing and Paramedical Sciences College were also started in the year 2007-08.
Delivering the promised potential, in the current year, year 2011, when our students started graduating; they were quickly absorbed in corporate and other centers which valued their worth. That was when the great potential for employment in corporate like Telecom, IT, Banking, Manufacturing, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical, Polyclinics, Industries, Training institutions in India and abroad, apart from the option of entrepreneurship, came to be known.
The infrastructure facilities at the Mandhana Campus are comparable with best standards and all the institutes in campus make full utilization of the common infrastructural facilities provided.
To translate into practice, its envisioned objective of dissemination of knowledge, in all the areas of Education, the Society has developed the New campus at Rama City which situates near Mandhana Railway Station, on G.T. Road, Kanpur (3 KMs away from IIT, Kanpur).The new campus spreads around 75 Acres of land. The Society has established Rama Medical College-Hospital & Research Centre, Rama Institute of Engineering &Technology, Rama Institute of Business Studies, Rama College of Nursing and Rama Institute of Para Medical Sciences in the new campus well known as Mandhana Campus. Various courses like M.B.B.S., B.Tech., M.B.A., M.C.A., B.Sc(Nursing), G.N.M. and other Paramedical courses are conducting in these Institutions successfully.
Keeping in view the necessity of providing the better medical treatment and cater to the needs of the inhabitants of Kanpur and adjoining districts, the Society has established a Super Specialty 750 bedded hospital in the above said New Campus with all modern and advanced facilities.
The infrastructure facilities at the Mandhana Campus include state-of-art infrastructure, labs and library along with the best possible sports facilities in a growing campus with best standards and both students, doctors, teachers and staff of Hospital and institute in campus are making full utilization of the common infrastructural facilities provided for all the institutes.
1.Teaching Staff
The faculty consists of a galaxy of dedicated, experienced and highly qualified teachers as per the norms of Medical council of India, Nursing Counsel of India & All India Counsel of Technical Education, who are competent and capable enough to maintain proper educational standards and to instill the right kind of spirit among the future healthcare, engineers and business professionals.
2. Laboratory Facilities
All the labs of the campus has been provided with the latest diagnostic and clinical equipments and materials in different labs for the benefit of the students and researches.
3. Library Facility
The fully air-conditioned state of the Art library at Mandhana campus stretches over 15000 square feet and accommodates 300 visitors at a time. It serves as an information hub for students, teachers as well as researchers.
The library is well equipped with the latest Medical, Engineering, Nursing and Business Subject-wise text books, reference books, periodicals, Indian and International subject-wise journals, in addition to the audio-visual aids.
4.Sports Facilities
A number of facilities are available for different sports disciplines. Playgrounds for cricket, hockey and football, courts for tennis, basketball, badminton and volleyball, a gym and an athletics track are all present for the students to pick and choose from.
5.Recreational Facilities
Students can join clubs for music and fine arts, literature and debating and photography. Mandhana Campus also stages an annual festival, Virasat, presenting luminaries of Indian dance and music. The students are also encouraged to take part in inter-college, inter-university and national-level competitions.
